Their job is to take the Penciller's graphite drawing and add stark black inks to them in order to prepare them to be coloured. Their job is not so easy as it might seem. In this course I will teach you about many of the popular tools of the trade (pens, ink, and brushes) and weigh them against each other, then I will show you how to use them. I will show you how to ink my cartoon character Jack Rabbit with pens and then bring him into the digital world on Photoshop, colour him and even drop him into a painting to make him look like he always belonged there. I will also show you how to ink The Enchantress digitally in Photoshop with a tablet, add digital colour to Tammy Toon, and apply block cel-shading like you would see in an anime. By the end of this course you will be able to turn your pencil sketch into a piece of art that has an unmistakable finished quality.
