This topic mainly deals with one of the most important chemical compounds viz. Acids and bases which serve important role both inside and outside the scientific laboratory as well as in our everyday life. Acids and bases play critical role in everything from digestion of the foods as well as in medicines we take along with several other applications. We cover right from the definition of the acids & bases up to concept of pH along with calculations involving pH.

Acids & bases are one of the most important chemical compounds of the entire chemistry they play very important role in the proper functioning of our body metabolism, functioning of various medicines & numerous day to day applications such as cleaning chemicals etc. In this topic, we get introduced to the important theories of acids & bases along with the classification viz, Strong & weak.
