The course presents methods to design 100% renewable energy houses/ factories / communities in standalone (off-grid) and grid-tied (on-grid) basis considering real case studies and communities that were converted to 100% renewable energy namely a farm in desert, a university and a factory. The course also presents solutions in terms of optimization to maximize the penetration level of renewable energies in power grid scale for countries considering Egyptian power grid and Upper-Egypt region as a region is now operating by 100% renewable energy power plants.
