Limits are important in calculus and mathematical analysis and used to define integrals, derivatives, and continuity. It is used in the analysis process, and it always concerns about the behaviour of the function at a particular point. The limit of a sequence is further generalized in the concept of the limit of a topological net and related to the limit and direct limit in theory category. Generally, the integrals are classified into two types namely, definite and indefinite integrals. For definite integrals, the upper limit and lower limits are defined properly. Whereas in indefinite the integrals are expressed without limits, and it will have an arbitrary constant while integrating the function.Limit, mathematical concept based on the idea of closeness, used primarily to assign values to certain functions at points where no values are defined, in such a way as to be consistent with nearby values. For example, the function (x2 − 1)/(x − 1) is not defined when x is 1, because division by zero is not a valid mathematical operation. For any other value of x, the numerator can be factored and divided by the (x − 1), giving x + 1. Thus, this quotient is equal to x + 1 for all values of x except 1, which has no value. However, 2 can be assigned to the function (x2 − 1)/(x − 1) not as its value when x equals 1 but as its limit when x approaches 1 Overview Section 1: Limits & Continuity Lecture 1 C9L1 Lecture 2 C9L2 Lecture 3 C9L3 Lecture 4 C9L4 Section 2: Set Theory Lecture 5 Introduction to Sets Intermediate - Class 11 - Pure Maths - Samacheer Syllabus rapidgator.net: - Código:
